How Contributions Are Used

Financial Transparency

How your contributions are used.

You have supported the PNST financially, or you are considering doing so. Here, clearly and precisely, is how your contributions are used. Transparency in the use of resources is a commitment the PNST makes to all of its supporters.

Principles of resource management

  • All resources received are managed under the supervision of the Ministry of Public Health and Population (MSPP).

  • No funds received as donations are ever used for personal or commercial purposes.

  • Expenditures are made as a priority for the network's most urgent operational needs.

  • An annual review of how resources were used is included in the PNST's activity report.

The 4 main areas of use

Medical equipment and consumables

The first priority. Blood collection kits, tubing, blood bags, sterile needles, screening reagents, this equipment is consumable and must be replenished regularly.

Team training

Laboratory technicians, nurses, and post managers receive ongoing training. The quality of the blood depends directly on the skill of the teams.

Network strengthening

The 25 transfusion centers and posts must be maintained and strengthened, particularly in remote areas, which benefit from investments in equipment and infrastructure.

Awareness campaigns

To recruit new voluntary donors, the PNST runs campaigns in communities, institutions, and the media, funded in part by the contributions received.
